My child at the time 3 years old attended a preschool for special need children. However, my daughter fell from a slide and nobody was not watching her. The nurse called me and told me what happen but she was not quite sure what happen. All she knew that my daughter fell from a slide. I tried to get information about the incident and I was giving different stories. The teacher tried to keep me from taking my daughter to the hospital. Once, I rushed my daughter to the hospital and notice a large lump on her head. I was told by the doctor that nobody doesn't want to be reliable for what happen to my daughter. My daughter's doctor kept her out of school for about a week. I request a incident report from the school. They told me that I could not get one. I had to talk the school district. They would not give me a copy of the incident report. Second, I tried to check my daughter out of school and they would not let me. Third, They wanted to hold a I.E.P meeting and I told them that my daughter was not attending the school anymore. The school staffs kept trying to get me to let my daughter return to the school. I refused it. Now, I recently received a letter that they placed my daughter in the same class where the incident happen. I was told that it would be hard to sue the school district. Second, tried to work with the school district. Third, I have 2 years to take them to court. All I want from the school district is to release my daughter from the preschool at my request and they wont do it. They want supply me with other options to help my daughter. (I asked for other schools and they wont provide the schools or give me any information about the school). They will not do anything for my daughter. The incident happen 7 months ago and my daughter has a pacemaker. I was told that she fell from the top of the slide, on her head and her body twisted. There were teacher-aides standing there but they claim they did not see her fall. One teacher describe her fall but tried to cover it up. I have called attorneys but they are too scare to take the case. There are about 5 children including mine has been hurt at this school and all the school and the school district does is sweep it under the rug. And, they want our children to continue to go to the school. My question can anyone help me and my daughter with this situation because, I am getting frustrated with this school district. If taking them to court to get this matter solve so be it because, children are getting hurt everyday and nobody wants to do anything about it. And, I did request an aide for my daughter because of her pacemaker and they refuse to give her one before this incident happen. We live in Hawthorne, Ca.
